Molly was born in Pennsylvania and began to work professionally in the teen years at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show was The Snow Queen. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after in the Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she was awarded an Barrymore Award nomination. She went on to reprise this role when she made her Broadway debut at age 15 with Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly also performed as a character in the Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a member of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree 2008. She then attended Princeton University, where she was a part of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. Molly is most well-known for her role as Ali from Paranormal Activity 2 and for the ABC comedy Last Man Standing written by Jack Burditt and starring Tim Allen.
